Head of Supply Chain & Logistics

The Company is seeking a Head of Supply Chain and Logistics to take on a pivotal role in the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall supply chain and logistics processes at a production site, from goods receipt to delivery. This includes leading and developing a logistics team, optimizing material flows, inventory levels, and production and capacity planning. The role also involves close collaboration with various departments to ensure high delivery performance and the management of key performance indicators to drive sustainable cost reduction measures. Applicants for the Head of Supply Chain and Logistics position at the company should have a degree in industrial engineering, logistics, business administration, or a related field, and several years of management experience in supply chain management, preferably in the industrial sector. The role requires a candidate with a strong background in scheduling, production planning, order processing, and inventory management, as well as strong analytical skills and experience in project management. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, be solution-oriented, and have a proven track record in process and structural transformation. Fluency in German and English, excellent communication, and leadership skills are essential, and experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle is an advantage.
