Vice President, Quality Engineering Greater Fort Worth, TX Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Quality Engineering to provide strategic and operational leadership for quality engineering across large-scale technology platforms. The role will define and scale quality practices throughout the software development lifecycle, embedding quality while supporting rapid, reliable delivery. Responsibilities include setting the quality engineering strategy and roadmap, overseeing test strategies and release readiness, and establishing quality gates, metrics, and release criteria. The VP will partner with engineering, product, DevOps, security, and business stakeholders, while building and mentoring high-performing quality engineering teams. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred. At least 15 years of software engineering and quality assurance experience, including leadership of quality engineering teams for complex platforms, is required. The role calls for deep knowledge of software architecture, the software development lifecycle, DevOps, CI/CD, test automation, distributed systems, and modern quality engineering practices. Strong executive judgment, analytical skills, communication, collaboration, and people leadership are essential, along with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and balance delivery speed, innovation, and quality.
