The Company is seeking a VP, Tax Reporting & Compliance Manager with a focus on IFRS accounting for German fund administration clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring technically sound, controlled, and timely IFRS accounting and reporting for in-scope investment funds. This includes acting as a senior IFRS accounting specialist, translating client-specific IFRS requirements into operational procedures, and overseeing daily and period-end IFRS accounting activities. The role also involves coordinating IFRS closing activities, performing various reconciliations, and supporting IFRS disclosures. The ideal candidate should have extensive practical experience in IFRS investment accounting, a deep knowledge of IFRS 9, 7, and 13, and a sound understanding of parallel German accounting frameworks. Applicants for this role at the company should possess a degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related discipline, with a professional accounting qualification being a plus. The role requires strong analytical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to manage demanding closing timelines. Professional capabilities include several years of experience in IFRS investment accounting or fund accounting, with the ability to act as the principal specialist for complex accounting matters. The candidate must have excellent written and spoken German and English, advanced Microsoft Excel skills, and experience with accounting platforms and reporting tools. Success in this position is defined by the completeness, technical soundness, and timeliness of IFRS accounting and reporting, as well as the ability to provide clear and reliable explanations to clients, auditors, and internal stakeholders.
