Deputy Chief Information Officer (CIO), Information Technology

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President/Deputy Chief Information Officer to serve as a principal deputy and senior executive leader within the IT organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership continuity, acting on behalf of the VP/CIO on institutional matters, and driving the company's technology vision. This includes strategic planning, portfolio prioritization, and ensuring that technology investments align with academic and administrative priorities. The role demands a leader with a strong background in IT governance, strategic planning, and portfolio management, as well as the financial acumen to manage enterprise-scale budgets and optimize technology investments. Key qualifications for this role at the company include a Bachelor's degree in a related field, at least 5 years' of leadership experience in a technology organization, and a proven track record of executive technology leadership. The ideal candidate will have a collaborative, inclusive leadership style, and a commitment to building high-performing, diverse teams. Experience in IT service management, project management, and change management is also highly valued. The role requires a candidate with a deep understanding of current and emerging technologies, and the ability to drive culture and technology change in a dynamic and complex operating environment. A Master's degree and additional certifications such as ITIL Expert are preferred.
