The Company is seeking a Compliance Assurance Review Lead (Vice President) to join their Financial Crime Compliance Assurance Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and executing assurance reviews to independently assess the effectiveness of compliance and financial crime risk management across multiple business units. This role involves the development and refresh of the compliance assurance annual plan, delivery of risk-based assurance activities, and the identification of potential risks associated with non-compliance. The role also requires the verbal and written communication of compliance assurance reports, as well as the building and maintenance of effective relationships with stakeholders across the three lines of defense. Applicants must have significant experience in leading compliance assurance, internal audit, or external audit reviews, with a good knowledge of financial crime and the associated regulatory environment. Strong technical assurance skills, including risk assessment, control evaluation, and issue articulation, are essential. The role demands strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, the ability to challenge senior stakeholders constructively, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrable leadership experience, a proactive and delivery-focused mindset, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment are also required. The Compliance Assurance Review Lead will be expected to contribute to the ongoing evolution of the compliance assurance function and strategy and to support the development of junior team members.
