Vice President of Consumer Insights & Intelligence Greater Greenville, SC Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Consumer Insights & Intelligence to build and lead an enterprise-wide consumer insights capability. The role will develop a unified understanding of consumers, category dynamics, competitors, cultural trends, retail environments, and purchasing behavior, translating findings into strategies that support growth, innovation, acquisition, engagement, and loyalty. Responsibilities include leading consumer segmentation and journey mapping, brand and marketing measurement, product research and validation, retail and shopper insights, and the integration of research with digital, transactional, social, and first-party data. The executive will also introduce predictive and AI-enabled analytics, communicate actionable recommendations to senior leaders, and build a high-performing insights organization. Candidates should have at least 15 years of progressive experience in consumer insights, market research, consumer strategy, analytics, brand strategy, or a related field, including seven or more years of senior leadership experience. Deep expertise in qualitative and quantitative research, consumer data ecosystems, digital analytics, CRM, segmentation, and predictive analytics is required, along with the ability to turn insights into measurable commercial growth. Experience in consumer products or similarly complex categories, working with major retailers, and influencing senior executives is preferred. A bachelor’s degree is required; an MBA or graduate degree in a related discipline is preferred. Strong communication, strategic judgment, commercial focus, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams are essential.
