Assistant Vice President, Index Research & Review Greater Hong Kong Area

The Company is seeking an Assistant Vice President for Index Research and Review to join their dynamic and purpose-driven team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in the development and maintenance of index products, a key growth area for the business. This role requires a high level of domain expertise and a passion for the industry, with responsibilities that include conducting regular index reviews, managing and analyzing datasets, monitoring market developments, and preparing documentation for governance discussions. The role also involves collaborating with various teams and vendors to ensure the accurate and timely implementation of index changes, as well as identifying and implementing process enhancements to improve efficiency and scalability. Applicants must have a relevant university degree, at least 7 years' of experience in financial markets, and a strong background in index/ETF businesses, asset management, or quantitative research. A deep understanding of programming languages, tools, and third-party vendor products is essential, as is exposure to the financial markets of Hong Kong, China, and the broader Asia-Pacific region. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, possess strong analytical and interpersonal skills, and be proficient in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
