Associate Vice President, Equity Financing Middle Office

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for its Equity Financing Middle Office. The successful candidate will be part of a team dedicated to maintaining a robust control framework in investment banking, with a focus on regulatory compliance and the efficient management of trading activities. This role involves monitoring and mitigating errors, supporting the development of policies and procedures, and leading projects to enhance operational efficiency. The AVP will also be responsible for day-to-day support activities in equity financing, including global support for fixed income and equity financing desks, and managing the firm's liquidity pool accounts. Applicants must have a strong background in equity financing, including securities-based lending and secured funding, with 5-7 years' experience in prime service middle office operations. In-depth knowledge of the Asia markets, particularly China and Korea, is essential. The role requires the ability to work under pressure, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and a detail-oriented approach. Strong communication skills and experience in dealing with traders are also necessary. The ideal candidate will be adept at data management, have a desire to learn new technologies, and be capable of leading and influencing change to ensure the best practices in trade and working capital services.
