The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for Market Systems in IT. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, enhancement, and support of business-critical market systems, ensuring the delivery of reliable and innovative technology solutions to support trading operations. This role involves leading application development, system enhancement, and technology modernization initiatives, as well as performing system analysis, architecture design, development, testing, and implementation for mission-critical applications. The AVP will also be tasked with producing project deliverables, collaborating with business users to gather and translate requirements, and providing production support to resolve technical issues in a timely manner. Applicants must have a degree in a relevant discipline and a minimum of 7 years' experience in application development and production support, with a proven track record in large-scale, high-availability, mission-critical systems. Strong programming and scripting skills in a range of languages, including Java, JavaScript, React, Python, C/C++, and Linux shell scripting, are essential. Experience with web application development, Red Hat Linux, Apache, Tomcat, and Oracle and/or DB2 databases is required, with additional experience in AWS, Huawei Cloud, and/or Microsoft .NET technologies being advantageous. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of DevOps practices, modern software development methodologies, and knowledge of the securities and/or derivatives industry. Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills are also necessary, as is the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
