The Company is seeking a Head of Settlement with a strong background in multi-asset settlement, including equities, derivatives, fixed income, funds, and OTC products. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily trade processing, clearing, and settlement, ensuring compliance with T+2 and T+1 settlement cycles, and managing the full spectrum of settlement activities across various asset classes. This role also involves risk management, maintaining strong relationships with counterparties, and leading a team to optimize resource allocation and drive continuous improvement. The Head of Settlement will be at the forefront of system enhancements, leading strategic projects, and driving digital transformation to achieve higher Straight-Through Processing rates. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' experience in settlement, clearing, or back-office operations, with at least 5 years in a managerial capacity, and possess deep product knowledge and system proficiency in relevant external clearing and settlement systems. A strong understanding of regulatory requirements, particularly Hong Kong SFC regulations, and fluency in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) are essential. The role requires a leader who can design and implement robust SOPs, manage team KPIs, and ensure operational readiness for market-wide changes. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and a proven track record in a similar role within a brokerage, investment bank, or asset management firm.
