Fractional Head of Geology

The Company is seeking a Head of Geology to lead resource geology, grade control, and geological programs that are essential for mine life extension and reporting standards. The successful candidate will have a high technical impact across kimberlite geology, mineral resource estimation, drilling and sampling programs, and geological database management. This role is pivotal in delivering bankable-standard resource and reserve reporting and enhancing geological capability in a complex operating environment. The Head of Geology will be responsible for a range of activities, including but not limited to, leading a team in the field, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of geological data, and contributing to the strategic planning of the mine. Applicants for the Head of Geology position at the company must have a Bachelor's degree in Geology, a minimum of 15 years' experience in mine geology, and a proven track record of at least 5 years in a senior geological management role on a kimberlite or diamond operation. The role requires expertise in kimberlite geology, bulk sampling, and diamond size-frequency and value modeling, as well as experience with external resource audits and a strong background in geological modeling and resource estimation using industry-standard tools. The ideal candidate will also have a professional registration that enables Competent Person status under SAMREC or JORC, and proficiency in English is a must, with Portuguese language capability being a preferred qualification. The Head of Geology will be expected to have a clear and effective communication style, particularly in conveying technical information to both operational and senior stakeholders.
