Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

The Company is seeking a hands-on, strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead its finance team and oversee the organization’s financial health, long-term planning, and compliance. Responsibilities include managing day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting, developing budgets and forecasts, and overseeing cash flow, reserves, grants, audits, risk management, internal controls, and records. The CFO will provide clear financial analysis and recommendations to support leadership, board, and funder decision-making and long-term sustainability. The role also carries significant influence over finance staff hiring and termination decisions. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent experience, and at least five years of financial management experience. Nonprofit fund accounting experience, including management of government grants and contracts, is required; senior finance leadership and staff supervision experience are preferred. Applicants should bring experience in budget development and cash flow management, advanced Excel skills, familiarity with fund accounting software, and working knowledge of Microsoft Office. A CPA or relevant master’s degree, multi-year forecasting experience, and bilingual abilities are advantageous.
