Market President Greater Johnson City, TN Area

The Company is seeking a Market President to drive growth across an assigned market and lead the execution of its business strategy. Responsibilities include overseeing banking activities, growing loans, deposits, and income, and delivering strong customer service and financial performance. The role also involves originating commercial and consumer business, managing credit quality and expenses, and overseeing compliance, operational risk, and enterprise risk. The Market President will recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing team while building strong relationships within the community. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent training and certification through an accredited banking school, along with at least seven years of retail banking experience leading service, sales, and operations. They should bring extensive knowledge of banking products, policies, procedures, operations, and compliance, as well as a strong understanding of risk management, regulatory requirements, and the Community Reinvestment Act. The role requires proven leadership and sales management skills, a track record of meeting growth targets and developing talent, and sound judgment in making complex decisions. Strong planning, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills are also essential.
