The Company is seeking a Senior Application Support professional to lead and direct a team in the daily operations of application system support, with a focus on ensuring the stability and availability of critical IT systems and applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving and executing operational strategies for incident management, monitoring application performance, and availability throughout the IT application system lifecycle. This role requires a deep understanding of business functions, IT systems, and application services, as well as the ability to take ownership of issues and lead collaboration with various teams to facilitate problem resolution and change management processes. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and possess a strong technical skill set that includes experience with application servers, web programming, operating systems, programming languages, databases, and ITIL framework. Non-technical skills such as team leading, coaching, customer and service orientation, stakeholder management, and strong communication are also essential. The role demands a proactive approach to monitoring and analyzing incidents, as well as the ability to provide recommendations for permanent corrective actions to improve the overall stability of application systems. The candidate should be well-versed in IT governance, policies, and regulatory requirements, and be capable of managing the support arrangement for both planned and unplanned activities.
