The Company is seeking a Vice President for Business Strategy and Analytics in the Consumer Lending division. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end development and execution of analytics and reporting strategies for the consumer lending portfolio, including home equity lines of credit, retail products, and future unsecured personal loans and credit card products. This role is pivotal in fostering a data-driven culture and leveraging advanced analytics to drive innovation in credit decisioning, pricing, and customer lifecycle management. Key responsibilities include the design, development, and monitoring of credit risk models, as well as the creation of dashboards and reporting frameworks to track portfolio health and performance. The VP will also be involved in identifying emerging risks and growth opportunities, designing lending strategies, and partnering with marketing to assess market opportunities and measure campaign effectiveness. Candidates for this role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 4 years' experience in data science or data analytics, with a strong proficiency in SQL, SAS, R, Python, Excel, and data visualization tools. Experience in consumer lending is preferred. The role requires a deep knowledge of consumer lending and related regulations, the ability to work with large datasets, and a proven track record of deriving business insights. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, and a strong background in statistical modeling and data governance. The VP will be expected to promote a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement, and to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the availability and accuracy of lending data assets.
