General Legal Counsel

The Company is seeking its first General Legal Counsel to provide strategic legal, governance, and risk leadership across multiple jurisdictions. The role will help lead an organization-wide integration, designing the structures, agreements, and governance frameworks needed to bring a historically federated organization together. The General Legal Counsel will build the global legal function and advise the Board and executive leadership on complex legal and organizational matters. Candidates should be accomplished legal leaders with experience advising boards and senior executives in complex, international, or purpose-led organizations. Experience in a charity, NGO, mission, or international development setting is desirable. The role requires strong judgment, diplomacy, and the ability to balance competing interests while working across cultures and jurisdictions. A commitment to the organization’s Christian mission and values is also important.
