About the Role
Greater London, United Kingdom Area (On-site)
The Company is in search of a Head of Commercial Finance to join their team at a pivotal stage in the business's evolution. The successful candidate will be a hands-on commercial finance leader, responsible for driving commercial performance, improving billing accuracy, revenue assurance, pricing discipline, and customer profitability. This role is not traditional FP&A or finance business partnering; instead, it is focused on being the commercial finance lead for the business, providing financial rigor, and actionable insights to support value creation objectives. The Head of Commercial Finance will work closely with various teams, including Go-To-Market, Revenue Operations, FP&A, Financial Control, and operational leadership, to ensure that commercial insight is embedded in decision-making processes and to support the transition towards platform optimization and sustainable value creation. Applicants for the Head of Commercial Finance position at the company should be qualified finance professionals with significant experience in senior commercial finance roles, particularly within sectors such as telecoms, managed services, cloud communications, SaaS, or other recurring revenue business models. The role requires a strong understanding of commercial dynamics, contract economics, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in pricing, margin analysis, revenue assurance, and customer profitability, and be adept at commercial analysis and forecasting. A hands-on approach, the ability to work with imperfect data, and a willingness to balance strategic leadership with analytical delivery are essential for this role.
