The Company is seeking a Head of Philanthropy and Community Fundraising to join their team. The successful candidate will be a key player in the delivery of the organization's ambitious fundraising strategy, with a focus on stewarding existing income and developing new opportunities to meet growth targets. This role involves leading a small team, providing inspirational leadership, and working closely with the Director of Income and Engagement and other colleagues to maximize income and strengthen the charity's impact. The Head of Philanthropy and Community Fundraising will be responsible for leading and managing the team, sharing leadership of the Development Advisory Group, and contributing to a positive, values-led fundraising culture. Applicants for the Head of Philanthropy and Community Fundraising position at the company should be experienced fundraising professionals with a strong understanding of relationship fundraising. The role requires a proven ability to generate significant income across various fundraising streams, including major donors, trusts, individual giving, and community fundraising. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in growing major donor income, extensive experience in managing donor relationships, and a background in leading successful fundraising events. Excellent communication, relationship-building, and storytelling skills are essential, as is the ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team. The role demands a proactive, self-starting approach, and a collaborative leadership style, with a passion for improving women's health and a commitment to making a tangible difference through fundraising.
