Head of QA

The Company is seeking a Head of QA to lead quality engineering across its software delivery function. The role combines hands-on ownership of QA strategy, standards, and test automation with responsibility for improving quality across multiple engineering teams. Key duties include embedding quality throughout the software development lifecycle, reducing defects and reliance on manual regression testing, and ensuring releases meet agreed standards. The successful candidate will strengthen existing automation, support and develop QA professionals, help grow the team, and explore practical uses of AI in testing. Candidates should bring strong experience in quality assurance, quality engineering, and test automation, including ownership or leadership of a quality strategy. They should have hands-on knowledge of modern automation frameworks, API testing, and data-heavy applications, plus a track record of reducing manual testing through automation. The role also requires the ability to influence teams through a matrix structure, establish standards, drive change, and mentor or help recruit QA talent. A strong understanding of quality across the software development lifecycle and an interest in applying AI to software testing are important.
