The Company is seeking an Applied AI Machine Learning VP with a focus on Fraud Modelling to join their ICB Risk Modelling team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in the development and management of machine learning models designed to mitigate fraud risk, particularly in the area of identity verification. This role involves close collaboration with various partner teams to ensure that the models meet high governance standards, regulatory requirements, and support business functions related to model management. The VP will lead the adoption and implementation of advanced solutions, including models from leading vendors, and will be responsible for the full model lifecycle, from development to deployment and ongoing monitoring. Applicants must have an advanced degree in a quantitative or technical discipline, a solid understanding of fraud modelling in financial organizations, and industry experience in applied data science and machine learning techniques. Proficiency in Python and SQL, as well as experience with data analysis and machine learning toolkits, is essential. The role requires the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and business audiences, and a strong team player mentality. Preferred qualifications include experience with identity verification fraud models, ML model explainability, and model risk management frameworks. The ideal candidate will also have the ability to leverage Generative AI tools to enhance productivity and problem-solving in their work.
