The Company is in search of a Vice President to join their Credit Quantitative Trading team. This role is pivotal in the development and deployment of comprehensive analytics, models, and tools used in various trading activities, particularly within the low-touch bond market making. The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with market makers, electronic risk managers, and other stakeholders to support trading strategies, as well as analyzing market trends and large datasets to provide actionable insights. A key aspect of the role is the design and implementation of end-to-end systems, ensuring that models and analytics adhere to industry best practices. The company values individuals who can bridge the gap between cutting-edge research and practical application, and who are dedicated to the evolution of quantitative research capabilities. Applicants for the Vice President position should hold a post-graduate degree in a STEM discipline and have extensive experience in a quantitative research or related role within the e-trading space. Strong knowledge of corporate credit and systematic market making is essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and to communicate complex concepts effectively. The role also requires a forward-thinking individual with excellent analytical skills, a systematic approach to problem-solving, and a willingness to explore new ideas. Preferred qualifications include expertise in deep learning, time series modeling, and advanced proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Java.
