The Company is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join their Derivatives Credit Risk Technology Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs, with a focus on delivering counterparty credit risk management software solutions. This role requires expertise in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment. The Senior Java Developer will also provide technical leadership, ensure application design adheres to architectural and design patterns, and collaborate with a global team to advance the software infrastructure. Applicants should have a core Java background, with experience in developing robust, scalable, and maintainable applications using object-oriented design principles. A strong understanding of the capital markets domain, particularly in derivatives and risk management, is essential. The role demands experience with Agile software development processes, a good grasp of Java internals, and a proven track record in building sophisticated tooling. Familiarity with the listed technologies, including Spring Framework, distributed caching frameworks, cloud computing, databases, and SDLC/Dev Ops, is required. The ideal candidate will also have experience in re-engineering applications to microservices, new platforms, and be adept at working in a Linux environment. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, with a Master's degree being preferred.
