Vice President of Pre-Development

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Pre-Development to lead early-stage development and expansion across multiple European markets. The role will shape the development pipeline, progressing opportunities from market assessment and site selection through land acquisition, planning, permitting, and development readiness. Responsibilities include evaluating technical, commercial, regulatory, power, grid, and infrastructure feasibility; developing investment cases and risk assessments; and leading negotiations with landowners and strategic partners. The VP will collaborate with investment, engineering, design, and construction teams, support market entry, and build high-performing teams and advisory partnerships. Candidates should have at least five years of data centre industry experience focused on early-stage development, real estate, or infrastructure expansion, and a record of delivering projects across multiple European countries. Required expertise includes site selection, land acquisition, planning, zoning, permitting, and assessing power and infrastructure needs. Applicants should understand European markets and regulatory frameworks, and bring commercial judgment in feasibility, investment appraisal, and development risk management. Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, leadership, and the ability to work strategically while remaining hands-on are essential.
