Associate Vice President, Research & Sponsored Programs

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President to provide strategic vision, oversight, and management of its research mission. The role will foster interdisciplinary collaboration across academic fields and serve as the institutional signatory and official for human-subjects and animal-research programs. Responsibilities include overseeing research integrity, compliance, and undergraduate research services, as well as building partnerships with industry and community agencies to support regional economic development. The Associate Vice President will also advance research engagement and support externally and internally funded research, instruction, community service, and scholarly activity. The position calls for senior leadership experience in research administration and the ability to guide complex research programs, compliance functions, and interdisciplinary initiatives. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong partnership-building and strategic planning skills, along with the judgment to serve as an institutional official for research oversight. They should be able to support faculty and student research and connect research activity with community and economic development priorities.
