The Company is in need of a Chief Financial Officer to provide strategic leadership in all financial activities within its vertically integrated agricultural and food distribution operation. The CFO will be responsible for overseeing finance, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, as well as partnering with executive leadership to evaluate capital investments and long-term business initiatives. This role also involves managing financial performance, cost, and profitability analysis, and ensuring compliance with industry-specific regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will lead and develop finance teams, ensuring alignment with organizational financial objectives. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with a CPA designation preferred, and at least 7 years of progressive financial leadership experience in the fresh produce, food processing, agricultural, or perishable goods industries. The role requires a strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, inventory management, and multi-entity business structures. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading finance teams across multiple processing plants, a strong understanding of operational economics, and excellent leadership and communication skills. The CFO must be adept at managing complex business environments and supporting long-term growth initiatives.
