Chief Nursing Officer (CNO)

The Company is seeking a Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to provide executive-level leadership and management of the nursing and patient care departments. The CNO will be responsible for directing and coordinating all nursing services, ensuring compliance with regulatory and hospital policies, and overseeing the development and implementation of clinical and operational standards. This role requires a strategic leader who can work collaboratively with the medical staff, administrative team, and governing board to achieve the hospital's mission and strategic goals. The CNO will also be involved in budget preparation, staff recruitment and retention, and will serve as a mentor and coach for nursing leadership staff. Candidates for the CNO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, with a Master's degree preferred, and at least 5 years of progressive nursing leadership experience in an acute care hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and clinical management, excellent communication and computer skills, and experience in budget preparation and operation. A valid California RN license, current BLS, and ACLS certifications are required. The CNO must be well-versed in the principles of nursing administration, patient care standards, and relevant healthcare regulations, and be committed to promoting quality patient care and a culture of professional nursing standards.
