Chief Information Officer (CIO) Greater Luxembourg Area

The Company is seeking a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to join its leadership team. This strategic role is pivotal in driving the technology strategy, operational excellence, and digital transformation initiatives within the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and executing the technology roadmap, ensuring that IT capabilities align with business growth, regulatory requirements, and operational efficiency in a demanding financial environment. Key responsibilities include technology governance, CSSF regulatory oversight, ICT risk management, DORA compliance, and digital operational resilience. The CIO will also be a key leader in stakeholder and team management, partnering with various internal teams, and promoting a strong risk and control culture. Candidates for the CIO position at the company should have a minimum of 5 years' of relevant experience in technology management, technology governance, and ICT, with a strong background in banking and financial services. The role requires a deep understanding of CSSF technology-related requirements and the Luxembourg regulatory environment. The ideal candidate will have a university degree in a related discipline and professional certifications such as CRISC, CISA, CGEIT, CISSP, ITIL, or ISO 27001. Proficiency in English is mandatory, with Spanish and French being valued. The CIO will be expected to have a proven track record in overseeing outsourced ICT services, cloud arrangements, and technology vendors, as well as the ability to effectively communicate complex technology and risk matters to senior management.
