Vice President, Portfolio Valuation

The Company is seeking a Vice President for its Portfolio Valuation practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and constructing financial models for various valuation analyses, including discounted cash flow, market multiple, market transaction, and option pricing. This role involves performing in-depth valuation analysis on a diverse range of illiquid investments across different industries and geographies, with a focus on securities and positions that lack active market quotations. The VP will also be involved in client interactions, from data gathering to presenting and reporting analyses, and will be expected to contribute to the development and maintenance of client relationships. Applicants for the Vice President position should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or an MBA, with a minimum of 4 years' experience in constructing and reviewing valuation and financial models. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential, as is proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. The role requires a professional who can work with accepted and relevant valuation approaches and theory, and who is adept at identifying and communicating potential engagements. The ideal candidate will be proactive in attending industry events to enhance their knowledge of the alternative asset industry and will be committed to delivering clarity and truth to clients in the face of complex business challenges.
