Associate Vice President, Surgical Services

Greater Macon, GA Area
The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for Surgical Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of care delivery models and services to ensure they meet or exceed customer expectations. This role involves providing effective and coordinated leadership of patient care within specified clinical service areas, as well as leading the fiscal oversight of allocated resources to optimize their utilization. The AVP will also be involved in strategic planning with administration, medical staff, and clinical leaders, and must maintain flexibility in the business unit to respond to changes in the healthcare market. Candidates for this position must be graduates of an accredited School of Nursing, with current RN licensure and an MSN degree. If the undergraduate degree is a BSN, a master's degree from a health-related program or an MBA is acceptable. Professional leadership certification is required within one year of eligibility, and previous leadership experience is preferred. The role demands a leader who can develop annual operating budgets, participate in strategic planning, and ensure the business unit is prepared to adapt to changes in practice or demand. The AVP will also be expected to have a strong commitment to the values of the organization and to providing high-quality, equitable care to all patients.
