Chief Financial Officer (CFO), B2C Energy

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead its finance function in Spain. The CFO will be responsible for ensuring strong financial governance, acting as a strategic partner to the local business and international management, and overseeing all financial activities including planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. The role also involves managing treasury, liquidity, and cash-flow planning, as well as maintaining relationships with banks and financial institutions. The successful candidate will be expected to provide financial insight to support commercial decisions, business development, and strategic initiatives, and to ensure that appropriate financial controls and risk-management frameworks are in place to support the company's trading and commercial activities. Candidates for the CFO position should have significant experience in senior finance leadership roles, with a strong background in the energy sector. A solid understanding of IFRS, financial reporting, consolidation, and internal controls is essential, as is experience in treasury, liquidity management, and banking relationships. The role requires a professional with the ability to combine strategic thinking with a hands-on, business-oriented approach, and experience in a Big 4 firm is a must. The CFO will also be expected to have strong leadership and stakeholder-management capabilities, and fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
