Head of Supply Planning

The Company is in search of a Head of Supply Planning to spearhead the development and leadership of its end-to-end supply planning function. This pivotal role is focused on ensuring optimal product availability, inventory performance, and operational efficiency within a complex manufacturing and distribution network. The successful candidate will be tasked with aligning demand, supply, manufacturing, procurement, and customer requirements to deliver high service levels and drive continuous improvement in planning processes. Key responsibilities include leading the supply planning team, owning the supply planning process, developing strategies to support business growth, and driving inventory optimization. The role also involves close partnership with various teams to manage capacity planning and mitigate supply risks. Applicants for the Head of Supply Planning position at the company should have a significant background in supply planning, supply chain planning, production planning, or IBP leadership within an FMCG environment. A proven track record in leading large planning teams, strong understanding of S&OP/IBP processes, and experience in complex manufacturing settings are essential. The role requires a candidate with strong analytical skills, exceptional stakeholder management abilities, and a history of driving change and delivering operational results. Knowledge of planning systems such as SAP APO, SAP IBP, Kinaxis, OMP, Blue Yonder, or similar solutions is advantageous.
