Vice President of Cloud Operations

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Cloud Operations to lead global cloud, infrastructure, and platform operations across cloud and hybrid environments. The role is accountable for platform reliability, scalability, security, operational efficiency, and cost effectiveness, while establishing strong practices for service levels, observability, incident management, capacity planning, and disaster recovery. The executive will partner with Product, Engineering, Finance, and Security leaders to align infrastructure strategy with business priorities and build reliability and cost efficiency into products. Responsibilities also include leading FinOps and cloud cost optimization, managing budgets, supporting technology integrations and acquisitions, and driving modernization, automation, and operational simplification. Candidates should bring significant leadership experience in cloud operations, infrastructure, platform engineering, SRE, DevOps, or related fields, including leading global teams in a SaaS or cloud-based software company. Deep experience with large-scale public cloud environments and hybrid infrastructure, along with expertise in FinOps, cloud financial management, COGS optimization, and product-level cloud economics, is required. The role also calls for strong knowledge of cloud architecture, reliability engineering, observability, automation, disaster recovery, and operational security. Candidates should demonstrate business acumen, executive communication skills, and the ability to influence senior Product and Engineering leaders, manage infrastructure budgets, and guide organizations through transformation and acquisitions.
