The Company is seeking a Vice President, Senior Counsel to provide legal support for its global trade supply chain finance and trade/working capital loans businesses. The successful candidate will be responsible for advising on a wide range of global trade-related transactions, including various trade loan facilities, supply chain finance, and other trade products. This role involves structuring trade transactions, reviewing and negotiating associated documentation, and providing legal advice on trade product structures and documentation. The attorney will also be expected to work with control functions such as regulatory, compliance, risk, finance, and tax, and to be involved in regional and global projects, including digitization initiatives. Applicants must have a law degree and be admitted to practice in a U.S. state, with a minimum of 8 years' of secured lending and transactional experience. Experience in global trade-related transactions and trade finance products is preferred. The role requires a comprehensive knowledge of relevant laws and practices, particularly in the context of cross-border transactions, and the ability to manage complex legal issues within tight deadlines. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of clear and concise communication, both written and verbal, and experience with complex financing structures, including those involving third-party lenders and special-purpose entities.
