About the Role
Greater Minneapolis, MN Area (Hybrid)
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer with a background in construction and/or real estate to join their client accounting and advisory services practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing CFO functions as part of the client's accounting services team, driving the implementation of best practices, and actively participating in the client's financial policy and overall strategy. This role involves capital planning, risk management, KPI analysis, and leading financial administration, planning, and budgeting. The CFO will also be accountable for ensuring the financial staff maintains record systems, manages cash flow, and coordinates audit activities. Building strong client relationships and becoming a key member of the client management team is essential, as is the ability to manage multiple client engagements and develop a key external business network. Applicants for the Chief Financial Officer position at the company should have a minimum of 8 years' of relevant work experience, with a preference for those with a background in the construction and/or real estate industry. A Bachelor's degree is required, and a CPA certification is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of financial management principles, be comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and be skilled in multitasking. The role demands a professional who is adept at managing multiple client engagements, building client relationships, and is a thought leader in the industry.
