The Company is seeking a Vice President of Communications and Marketing to play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the organization's strategic communication and marketing initiatives. This visionary and hands-on leader will be responsible for elevating the company's mission, impact, and brand through a comprehensive approach that includes digital and social content, thought leadership, media and public relations, and advocacy campaigns. The successful candidate will be a trusted advisor to the President & CEO, with a focus on turning the company's work into a compelling national narrative. Key responsibilities include setting and owning a communications and marketing strategy, leading a proactive media relations program, and ensuring the organization's brand identity is consistent and impactful across all platforms. Applicants for the Vice President of Communications and Marketing position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 10 years' experience in communications, public relations, marketing, or related areas. The role requires a strong background in public and media relations, as well as a proven track record in developing and executing strategic communication plans. Experience in nonprofit, mission-driven, or philanthropic settings is preferred, with a focus on education, education equity, or infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, a skilled storyteller, and a collaborative team leader, with the ability to balance strategic vision with operational excellence. A passion for the company's mission and a commitment to the belief that every child deserves inspiring, healthy spaces to learn are essential.
