The Company is seeking a Quantitative Strategist Specialist, AVP to join their Algorithmic Solutions (AlgoS) team. This dynamic and international team is responsible for the design and development of financial algorithms that underpin regulatory risk measures, with a focus on credit risk. The successful candidate will be part of a small, specialized group that interacts with various divisions across the firm, including finance, credit, market risk, regulatory policy, front office, audit, and technology. The role involves algorithmic design, business programming, technical build, change governance, and sophisticated data analysis, particularly in the context of regulatory quantitative impact studies and capital planning. Applicants should have a Master’s degree in a relevant field and at least 5 years of experience, ideally in banking with a background in credit risk and regulatory concepts. An engineer's mindset, practical programming experience (SAS, R, SQL, or Python), and a strong understanding of Basel 4/CRR3 and reporting frameworks are essential. The role requires the ability to work autonomously, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the capacity to leverage AI tools responsibly.
