Vice President, Finance Consolidation Greater Mumbai, India Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President for Finance Consolidation with a strong background in the investment industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice and services in the interpretation and implementation of accounting standards and business requirements. This role involves people management, resource planning, issue management, and stakeholder engagement. The VP will also be involved in high-level reviews of deliverables, supporting UK counterparts, and fostering relationships with auditors, fund teams, and other divisions within the business. Applicants must have a CA qualification with at least 14 years' of experience in consolidation, particularly within the investment industry. The role requires a candidate with excellent communication skills, the ability to engage at all levels, and a good understanding of technical accounting and taxation, including UKGAAP/IFRS. Experience in monitoring a SOX control environment, problem-solving, decision-making, and time management is essential. The VP will be expected to lead process and control enhancements, ensure compliance with IFRS, and support the implementation of new accounting standards. A proactive approach to continuous improvement, the ability to manage risks, and a strong focus on training and development for team members are also key aspects of the role.
