Vice President, Technology Management Lead Greater Mumbai, India Area

The Company is in search of a Technology Management Lead, VP to spearhead the delivery of IT services to its Indian franchises. The successful candidate will be responsible for the modernization of the company's IT infrastructure and local application platforms, ensuring they meet industry standards while maintaining a strong control over risk, regulatory portfolio, and financial performance. This role demands a leader who can work closely with local, regional, and global executives to support technology strategy and business growth, as well as inspire and oversee the development of technology staff. The VP will also be tasked with partnering with business stakeholders to understand their needs and develop strategies that support the growth of the Indian franchise from a technology perspective. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree, at least 15 years of experience, and a solid understanding of enterprise technology, including infrastructure, end-user and application services, cloud hosting, and AI. Deep knowledge of financial services business principles and banking operations is essential, as is extensive experience in technology leadership or business roles. The role requires excellent communication and influencing skills, the ability to understand business needs, and a proven track record in areas such as people development, IT strategy, software delivery practices, data management, and IT service management. A strong background in India banking regulation with respect to IT services, as well as experience in IT change and transformation delivery, non-financial risk, and cyber-threats, is also necessary. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to leverage AI tools and ensure their responsible and ethical use in a business context.
