Associate Vice President, Financial Close Leader

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President, Financial Close Leader to coordinate enterprise-wide finance processes and promote consistency, efficiency, and operational excellence. Responsibilities include managing finance-wide strategic initiatives, calendars, milestones, documentation, and project delivery, as well as supporting timely and accurate financial reporting. The role will coordinate audit planning and materials, liaise with external auditors, and support preparation for audit committee and management meetings. The successful candidate will also develop executive communications and presentations, organize finance leadership engagements, and collaborate with analytics and finance teams to improve processes and automation. Candidates should have at least seven years of experience in insurance or financial services and strong knowledge of reinsurance or other financial markets, audit processes, and regulatory compliance. A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting is preferred; education or experience in operations or project management is an advantage. The role requires excellent written and verbal communication, analytical and problem-solving abilities, strong project management and organizational skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities. Proficiency with presentation, word-processing, spreadsheet, and other office applications is also required.
