Associate Vice President, Back Office Operations (MBS/TBA)

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President of Back Office Operations to oversee daily processing across treasury and multiple financial products, including fixed income, mortgage-backed securities, repurchase agreements, derivatives, and money markets. Responsibilities include reconciling profit-and-loss reports and cash positions; verifying, confirming, and recording trades; and managing settlements, margin calls, payments, custody activity, and corporate actions. The role also handles trade fails, account reconciliations, journal entries, reporting, and departmental records. The successful candidate will support system testing, process changes, and automation initiatives, while providing backup coverage for daily operations. Candidates should bring hands-on experience with mortgage-backed securities and to-be-announced trade settlements, along with strong back-office operations expertise in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Familiarity with trade processing, settlement platforms, cash and position reconciliations, and financial products such as bonds, repos, futures, options, and money market instruments is important. The role calls for meticulous attention to detail, sound operational judgment, and the ability to collaborate effectively with front-office and operations colleagues.
