Associate Vice President, Financial Close Leader

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President, Financial Close Leader to coordinate enterprise-wide finance processes and promote consistency, efficiency, and operational excellence. Responsibilities include managing the finance strategic management system, overseeing finance programs and calendars, tracking milestones, and driving cross-functional projects to completion. The role will support financial reporting and audit planning, coordinate materials and agendas for audit and management meetings, and collaborate with data and finance teams to identify process improvements and automation opportunities. The successful candidate will also prepare executive communications and presentations, maintain finance team content, and coordinate key stakeholder updates. Candidates should have at least seven years of experience in insurance or financial services and strong knowledge of (re)insurance or financial markets, audit processes, and regulatory compliance. A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting is preferred; Operations or Project Management education is an advantage. The role requires excellent written and verbal communication, analytical and problem-solving abilities, strong project management, and exceptional organization and attention to detail. Candidates should be effective collaborators who can build trust, manage competing priorities, and use PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and other office applications.
