Chief Development Officer

The Company is seeking a Chief Development Officer to build and lead a comprehensive fundraising program supporting its health, education, and community initiatives. In partnership with the CEO, the CDO will strengthen and diversify fundraising, grow recurring and unrestricted support, and reduce reliance on individual relationships. Responsibilities include leading the development team, cultivating major donors and institutional funders, securing significant gifts, and engaging board members and senior leaders as fundraising partners. The CDO will also establish data-informed goals and reporting, build organizational visibility, and serve as a public-facing ambassador. Candidates should bring a successful fundraising record, including major-gift cultivation and direct solicitation, with experience building or rebuilding a development program in a small, entrepreneurial organization. Experience partnering with a founder or high-profile executive, engaging boards, managing teams, and working with international philanthropy is valuable. Strong relationship-building, communication, public-speaking, organizational, and analytical skills are essential, along with cultural sensitivity, sound judgment, integrity, and a commitment to the mission. A bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
