The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Global Strategic Marketing with a focus on a rare disease. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of advancing care in the rare disease community and driving the company's commercial success. This critical role involves pre-launch planning and market preparation for the introduction of a differentiated and disruptive therapy. The Executive Director will be responsible for the development and execution of global marketing strategies and tactics, ensuring cross-regional messaging and branding consistency, and alignment with corporate goals. Key responsibilities include driving successful global strategies, understanding market trends, providing marketing leadership to cross-functional teams, and optimizing commercial success for product launches. The role also requires the development of a global communication platform, the implementation of educational initiatives, and the management of external agencies to ensure the execution of marketing programs. Applicants for the Executive Director position should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in global marketing or other relevant strategic functions, with a proven track record in launching and managing competitive products in complex rare disease markets. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a Master's in Science or MBA preferred. The ideal candidate will have experience in collaborating with patient organizations, the ability to influence without direct authority, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills are essential, as is the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. The role demands an analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills, the ability to anticipate and respond to commercial market challenges, and a commitment to compliance, integrity, and transparency.
