Head of Collections

The Company is seeking a Head of Collections to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning the collections and recovery strategy across the full delinquency lifecycle, from the first missed payment to write-off. This role involves building a scalable operating model, refining collection strategies, and establishing clear escalation criteria. The Head of Collections will also be tasked with creating and maintaining KPIs, leading a team of managers and team leads, and partnering with various departments to improve recovery strategy and operations. Applicants must have a minimum of 8 years' experience in collections, recovery, servicing, workout, credit risk, or related functions, with at least 3 years in a senior collections leadership role. Experience in a high-velocity lending environment, such as small-business lending, commercial lending, or fintech lending, is essential. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the delinquency and recovery lifecycle, analytical skills, and experience in designing incentive compensation for collectors. Strong executive communication and cross-functional leadership skills are also required. A Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related discipline is a nice-to-have, but not mandatory.
