Head of Controls, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) & Technology Infrastructure

The Company is seeking a Head of Controls to lead its first-line technology risk and controls organization across core infrastructure and technology services. The role provides executive direction to global controls teams and oversees governance for foundational processes, including software development, change, incident, problem, and configuration management. Responsibilities include designing and validating automated controls in development pipelines and cloud environments, governing risk assessments for new activities and platform changes, and driving issue resolution and corrective action plans. The successful candidate will also represent the controls organization in regulatory examinations and maintain audit readiness. Candidates should have at least 15 years of experience in operational risk, cloud security, infrastructure governance, compliance, or technology audit, along with at least eight years leading large, globally distributed technical teams. Deep expertise in cloud platforms, enterprise infrastructure, software development and DevOps controls, and modern software architectures is required, as is practical exposure to AI and emerging technology risk governance. Applicants should have a proven record of leading regulatory interactions and a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or another STEM discipline; a master’s degree is preferred. Key capabilities include risk management, governance, controls lifecycle, issue management, process design, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management.
