Managing Director, Financial Communications

The Company is seeking a Managing Director for its Financial Communications team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing client engagements related to a variety of financial and strategic events, including M&A, IPOs, spin-offs, SPACs, shareholder activism, and C-suite transitions. This role involves managing critical communication strategies, counseling clients on complex issues, and overseeing the execution of cohesive communication programs. The Managing Director will also be a primary client contact for senior-level executives, participate in new business development, and mentor junior staff. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree, at least 10 years' of experience in financial communications and capital markets, and a proven track record in advanced writing, analytical skills, and project management. Applicants for the Managing Director position at the company should be prepared to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and be adept at multitasking across client programs and business development initiatives. The role requires the ability to lead account teams, manage all levels of employees, and direct projects from inception to completion. Strong organizational, time management, and leadership skills are essential. The candidate should be proficient in PowerPoint and Excel, with the capacity to think creatively and logically, and to adjust their approach to meet client needs.
