Vice President, Credit Analyst, Commercial Real Estate & REITs

The Company is seeking a Vice President-level Credit Analyst to assess commercial real estate and related credit exposures across a diversified portfolio. Responsibilities include reviewing credit applications, evaluating borrower creditworthiness and loan structures, building financial and cash flow models, and preparing clear credit opinions with recommendations. The role also involves assigning risk ratings, conducting periodic reviews, monitoring borrowers and industry conditions, and ensuring adherence to credit policies. The successful candidate will engage with external stakeholders, coordinate with internal teams, and mentor junior credit officers. Candidates should have at least six years of banking experience, strong credit analysis and underwriting expertise, and deep knowledge of commercial real estate, REITs, homebuilders, or non-recourse finance. Advanced financial modeling skills—including projections, valuation, recovery, and sensitivity analysis—are required, along with the ability to assess financial statements, cash flows, and industry trends. Strong written and verbal communication, sound independent judgment, and the ability to build effective stakeholder relationships are essential. Leadership skills and experience supporting the development of junior colleagues are also expected.
