Vice President, Credit Risk Officer, Private & Structured Credit

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Credit Risk Officer, to evaluate complex private credit, opportunistic lending, and bespoke financing transactions across varied asset classes and borrower profiles. The role will assess borrower fundamentals, collateral quality, cash flow durability, legal protections, downside scenarios, and structural mitigants. Working as an independent credit authority alongside deal teams, the officer will influence transaction structuring, negotiations, covenants, documentation, and risk allocation. Responsibilities also include preparing credit recommendations for senior stakeholders, participating in diligence discussions, monitoring approved exposures, identifying emerging risks, and collaborating with legal, finance, and business partners. Candidates should bring strong private credit judgment, structuring expertise, and the ability to assess nontraditional transactions in fast-moving environments. Relevant experience should include areas such as direct lending, specialty finance, asset-backed transactions, or unconventional collateral structures. The role calls for sound analytical and underwriting skills, confidence presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders, and the ability to contribute to diligence and transaction reviews.
