Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Greater New York City, NY Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) to partner with business leaders and corporate functions, providing financial insight to support decision-making and performance. Responsibilities include leading annual planning, budgeting, and forecasting; analyzing financial results, trends, risks, and opportunities; and preparing management reports, dashboards, and executive presentations. The role also covers expense and workforce analysis, cost allocation and profitability analysis, financial modeling, and scenario planning. The successful candidate will use data visualization, automation, and emerging technologies to improve financial insights and reporting, while advancing FP&A processes through standardization and analytics. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or a related field; an MBA, CPA, CFA, or similar qualification is a plus. The role requires 10–15 years of progressive experience in FP&A or a related finance discipline, with strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, variance analysis, and management reporting. Applicants should be able to interpret financial statements and communicate complex information as clear, actionable recommendations, with strong business-partnering and communication skills. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills are required, along with experience using dashboards or business-intelligence tools; familiarity with AI, automation, and enterprise performance management platforms is preferred. Experience in banking or another complex, multi-business environment, as well as expense management, workforce planning, cost allocations, or profitability analysis, is desirable.
