Vice President, Investment Banking, Project Finance

The Company is seeking a Vice President for its Investment Banking division, with a focus on Project Finance. The successful candidate will be responsible for business development and origination, including supporting the execution of strategic growth initiatives, building and maintaining client relationships, and contributing to the preparation of client presentations and marketing materials. This role also involves close collaboration with internal stakeholders to identify and originate new opportunities. In terms of transaction execution, the Vice President will play a leading role in structuring and executing advisory mandates, managing specific transaction workstreams, overseeing financial modeling and analytical work, and leading the preparation of transaction documentation. Additionally, the role includes team and platform development, such as mentoring and developing junior professionals and supporting cross-selling initiatives. Applicants for this role at the company should have a strong academic background, preferably with an MBA or advanced finance-related qualification, and approximately 6-8 years of relevant experience in debt advisory, project finance, acquisition finance, lending and advisory, or M&A advisory. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in project finance and valuation modeling, a strong understanding of capital structures, and excellent quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities. Personal attributes should include strong client-facing and relationship management skills, demonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilities, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Fluency in English is required, and Spanish language skills are advantageous. Professional licenses such as FINRA SIE, Series 79, and Series 63 are also necessary.
